Our learning environments
Bright Beginnings Montessori is a preschool and a nursery. We provide high-quality care and education for children from the age of 3 months to 6 years. The only requirement we have is that children attend at least 2 Montessori sessions (4 or more hours) in the nursery and 3 in the preschool. We are licensed for up to 84 children including up to 24 0-2 year olds.
Pukeko Room - The nursery
Our Nursery is bright and spacious, welcoming children aged 3 months to around 2 ½ years. It's self-contained with a separate kitchen, restroom, and sleep area for up to 20 children. Alongside a large outdoor play area and great teacher-to-child ratios, the Nursery offers a nurturing environment. We follow a Primary Caregiving System, where each child has a dedicated caregiver. They help with settling in, track learning progress, and assist with care routines like feeding, changing, and nap times.
Fantail Room - Preschool
Once each child reaches the age of approximately 3 ½ years old, they take their next exciting step on their educational journey by transitioning into The Fantail Room. This room is thoughtfully structured to prepare them for the exciting adventures of primary school, fostering a comprehensive and holistic approach to their continued development.
Butterfly Room - Preschool
The Butterfly Room is a special space where our children delve deeper into the enriching world of Montessori education. This room is meticulously designed to provide an environment where children can engage in Montessori experiences with a greater level of detail and depth
Our spacious learning environments and expansive outdoor areas are Licensed for up to 84 Children including 24 0-2 year olds and up until 6 years of age.
